This site does not use cookies

The pages of this site set no cookies, do not use browser local storage and contain no analytics or traffic measurement tools. There is therefore no consent banner, because there is nothing for which consent would be required.

The site is made of static pages generated at publication time. Everything it loads, images included, comes from the same domain: there are no fonts, videos, maps or scripts pulled from third-party domains.

Technical cookies from the infrastructure

The provider delivering the site may set technical cookies needed for connection security and for protection against automated traffic. These are session or short-lived cookies, they do not serve to recognise users over time and they fall among those exempt from consent under article 122 of the Code.

The map on the contacts page

The contacts page offers an OpenStreetMap map that is not loaded when the page opens: in its place there is a box with a button, and the map arrives only if you ask for it. Until that button is pressed the site contacts no external domain.

On pressing the button the browser connects to openstreetmap.org, which receives the IP address and processes data under its own notice. OpenStreetMap is preferred over Google Maps precisely because it sets no profiling identifiers.

Links to other sites

The site contains links to university pages, to internal lab services and to the sites of the organisations the lab works with. Once you follow a link, the privacy and cookie notices of those sites apply, and this lab has no control over them.

How to delete cookies

Every browser allows you to inspect and delete stored cookies and to block them from being set. Blocking the technical cookies described above may prevent the site from loading.
